We’re a magazine with our tongue firmly in our cheek. We have attitude whilst knowing what we are talking about. Think of us as an unpretentious version of one of those magazines, you know the ones…
We have numerous sections (ie Fashion, Film & TV, Life & Sex, Art and Music) as well as regular columnists providing a wide range of wholey unique content.
We are currently looking for editors of the following sections. If you think you’d like to lead one of these sections in aiming to become HI!’s flagship section, then get in touch now!
Arts and Beauty are two sections that need editing, and they work under their section editor (ENTS and Lifestyle respectively). These editors should have next to expert knowledge in the field they are editing, know (or be willing to learn) basic HTML code and have a passion for writing.
We are also looking for an editor for the Lifestyle section, this involves managing sections editors of Fashion, Beauty, Food and Drink and Out and About. We’re looking for someone with a passion for going out, fashion and food. A general inquisitive soul who will push our section editors to their best performance. A basic HTML knowledge is preferable but a keen grasp of the english language is required.
To apply for any of these editorial roles, please email Editor-in-Chief EK McAlpine and Founder Seb White using this singular email: firstname.lastname@example.org
All editorial teams aren’t just comprised of one person, we believe the more opinions there are, the more people we will cater for. That’s why Deputy Editors are so important to HI!. They are responsible for forming the editorial policy alongside the editors, as well helping to run the section and publish content.
You need to be highly knowledgable on the section you want to join the editorial team for, so expect a pop-quiz upon interview, maybe, possibly, probably not.
You want to write for us? Great news! Here’s what you need to know…
We want you to be passionate about what you write about, therefore you need to know what section of the site you want to write for.
